Roquefort Cheese Dressing

Following up my article about the Tariffs on Roquefort yesterday, I wanted to celebrate by making a blue cheese dressing. Here is a very simple recipe for it, any blue cheese can be used, but Roquefort is may favorite for this one. I would cut up some hearty, crispy lettuce like hearts of romaine or butter lettuce heads and just DUMP this dressing on top. YUM.

Cheese and Figs

One of my favorite ways to enjoy fruit and cheese is combining an awesome sweet fruit with a great salty, creamy cheese. Like this recipe for cheese and figs, I know you cheese fans have been asking about it for a while, but I only just came across the recipe in my cheese files. Enjoy! Cheese and Figs forever!!! Any type of blue cheese will work - Gorgonzola, St. Agur, Maytag Blue and Great Hill Blue are some to look for. Pairing salty and creamy blue cheese with anything sweet creates balance. I would also use a nice brie cheese in this recipe, with a little honey too. Scrumptious!

Blue Cheese Review

I am so excited, as this is my first cheese review. Where better to begin, than the cheese I am munching right as I type... blue cheese.

If you are unfamiliar with Blue cheese, it is a very distinct cheese based on its taste and smell. Overall blue cheese is a strong-flavored cheese and said to be an acquired taste. The most common characteristic tends to be that it is tangy in taste
